"I Believe in Miracles!"

This coming week, my dream will become reality: I plan to bring a handful of orphaned children around the city and mountains of Nanchang in hopes that learning photography will inspire their lives.

All it took was a phone call. Earlier today my friend Lucia spoke in gracious and joyful Mandarin to an orphanage director explaining The Invision Project.

“She said yup!” Lucia reported the response to our inquisition of “borrowing” the kids for a week. It was as simple as that.

Another amazing thing that’s happening is I’ve been connected to a professional photographer in the city who is open to helping the kids this week! I’m meeting with him tomorrow to talk about opportunities of what role he can play this week!

And we have also found some really great locations to take the kids to! One place my friends and I found was a small village tucked away on a mountain. After taking a public bus out of the city, we met a man who offered to take us to the village where he grew up. All I can say is, we struck gold! I can’t wait to take the kids there this coming week! It’s majestic!

And last but not least, ALL OF THE TRANSPORTATION THIS WEEK IS COVERED! Praise the Lord! All of our outings will be paid for, thanks to JMC, a company that covers Bring Me Hope’s camp transportation.

Tomorrow my friend Rose and I will move our hotels to be closer to Lucia, who is helping with The Invision Project which starts Tuesday. I will also find out if the rest of the donated digital cameras did in fact make it to China. If so, hooray! If not, thank goodness for the Electronic Market here! :) Please keep lifting us up! God is so good!
